Thanks to the 2009 football seniors!

I do not know if this has been posted yet but I wanted to thank the 2009 seniors on the Iowa State Football team. Your hard work, leadership and dedication to the program, town and university were rewarded with a bowl win for your last game.

You guys went through a lot and I knowthe fans REALLY appreciate everyhting you did. Thanks for laying the foundation for future victories and for the possibilities of real big things for this program!

Thanks again fellas, good luck in the future whether it be in football in some capacity or in the 'real world.'

Great post. These young men showed the character and perserverance to see it through, and to not only accept the challenges that they faced, but to meet them head on. Their toughness helped to lay the building block of a new football program.

Great post ! Thanks for all of the seniors that stuck around thru all of the coaching changes. Sounds like Jessie Smith was ready to throw in the towel before Coach Rhoads arrived.
