First off, if Georgia Tech is looking at him, I'm in. This guy seems to me to be a little like ARob with a little more open field shiftiness. I like it. Between him and Hollis, I love the class of RBs we have.

Unless I read this wrong he's not committed to ISU at all. He's using us as a backup plan. If FSU offers he's a Seminole. I just woke up so I may be missing something here.

That is what I have heard too. I'll count him as a true committment when he signs the paper.

Looks like FSU has 21 commits so far and only 1 RB who is a JC kid that has already signed his LOI. They are probably looking for HS RB still.

Wouldn't shock me if we lose him.

If they haven't offered yet, he is obviously a backup plan. I wonder who their target(s) are and how far down the list Shontrelle is....2nd?? 3rd??

chicken **** on his part.. if you arent sure of it dont commit. if you arent 100% all in, then its not really a "commitment". i would love to have Shontrelle as a cyclone though. i just dont like the way he's playing his recruitment. dont tell a coach you're going to play for him, when you're prepared to jump ship.

I agree, but I also understand his point in saying ISU is recruiting other backs. I doubt there has been an agreement that ISU would quit recruiting backs. Having said that I think he should have let the coaches know the situation. It doesn't sound like he did.

It looks like FSU might be waiting out for Marcus Lattimore, but with no visit scheduled it's reasonable to assume that FSU is not at the top of his list, meaning they will be looking for another RB. They also have another offer out to Brandon Gainer of Miami, but FSU is listed as Low interest for him.
