Then I'd say you have no idea what your talking about...not saying he does, just saying chances are 'higher' than average that someone in his position has. My hometown church back in Iowa has had it's share of 'imposters' for various illegal acts yet were considered by many to be pilars of the community prior to conviction. Furthermore pot/weed/mary-j is more accessible and less frowned upon with much of contemporary society outside of the midwest.

No one mentioned it, but it was in the subtext. You know as well as I do that weed was brought up because his favorite artist is Bob Marley. Not because he wants to visit Jamaica.

I think the poster that brought it up was mentioning the combination of the two things.

Keep in mind that said poster used to post about that substance a lot, and has drastically changed his posting patterns. I think it was more past experience connecting those two things than Bob Marley bias.

I know that I was asked pretty often if I was going to get high simply because we were spending so much time in Jamaica. I made a couple of calls back to the states, and those places assumed it just from the idea that I was calling from Jamaica.

So, Jamaica brings that inference by itself from plenty of people. In the poster's case, I believe that he was inferring it by the combination of Marley and Jamaica.
