    Does anyone know what DL recruit that Randy Peterson was talking about on the 12:30 ISU chat? I am thinking Kirksey but was kind of hoping for another surprise....

    Randy Peterson:
    That certainly needs to be a point of emphasis, although Rashawn Parker's coming back and Patrick Neal improved. I head (Shhhhh) that there's a big-time DL recruit still out there who's got ISU high on his list. But don't tell anyone.

    Not sure who the Big Time DLine Commitment is, Randy P. didn't give much information other than he is high on ISU and ISU is high on him.

    Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

    ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

    I really like the fact that Kirksey is coming to Ames, this kid has the size and motor that Wally and Co can really turn into a big time player.

    Hope he picks the good guys, would be an absolute awesome way to end maybe the best recruiting class that ISU has ever assembled!!!!

    I'm thinking it is Kirksey but don't rule out Tim Jackson. Latest reports are stating his last official visit is between us and Mississippi St. and he will likely only visit Miss St. if they also offer Bernard Reedy. It just so happens we have alraedy offered Reedy and are in talks about an official visit.

    How sweet would it be to get all of Kenneth Kirksey, Bernard Reedy, and Tim Jackson? Let me answer that for you...F'n Sweet
