In an article before this season, he had reunited with his family early last summer, this must be old, or he is trying to contact them again. I believe it was in the register, it was discussed on here also.

The caption to the pic is in regards to him trying to contact his mom/family after the Haitian earthquake a few days ago. He did reconnect with his mom last summer, and is trying to make sure she is okay (she lived in Port-au-Prince, site of the quake) now but can't get any communication down there.
