This would be my response, as well. Other than that, a pretty good job by Griffin.

I agree with most, but as many have said, hard to leave Berryman off.

And Yelk only got P because he played the whole decade.

I wonder who he talked to to come up with that list, I can't imagine he came up with it all by himself, what with his indepth knowledge of Iowa State football over the past 10 years....

I found it interesting how Chizik's name isn't mentioned once. Its like a glaring gaping hole.

He was a McCarney fan. Rhoads is boy come home story with a connection to McCarney.

But in a lot of ways Chizik was a big gaping hole the two years he was here.

This I agree with. Also, Brant on the OLine? Seriously? When he wasn't fighting with Marty Fine, he was spending his time not living up to potential. Yes, I know, he got drafted by the Bears...

I don't know about Alvin Bowen as Defensive player of the decade in my opinion he is not even the best LB on the list.

    Really spot on.

I would support Moses; he deserves to be there. J.J. made it to the NFL solely as a punt and kickoff returner. Billups does have the great memory of the Insight.com Bowl though.

The first thing that struck me is the defense really stood out. The players left off would make a real nice team. The offense not so much. There's Seneca but the other skill positions don't really wow you. Arob still has another year though.

I think I'd take DeAndre Jackson over LJ.

I would've taken Brandtner over either, although we've had great punting this decade.

A-Rob and Ennis is a monster backfield, IMO.

That is exactly what Iwas thinking. DeAndre started for at least 3 years and was being talked about as being a 2-3rd round pick before blowing his knee out, and ending his chances of making the NFL.
