DE in waiting....
CR has a DE waiting to commit (assuming waiting on grades...or his mother's permission). Any idea of who this is?
Plus, do we have any idea of officially how many scholly's we've used for this year and how many do we have left to secure for next Wednesday

if i had to guess...
edit-probably has to wait and see if we will have a scholly for him?

Re: DE in waiting....
I would love a DE! Hopefully there is some speed to create some problems for opposing QB's.

Re: DE in waiting....
What about Paul Dancy???
Beat me to it...

Re: DE in waiting....
It's Paul Dancy. He is waiting to see if another Dlineman commits here or somewhere else to see if there is a spot for him. You can who it is in the other thread.

Apparently the story is that Auburn is still in on 3 of the top High School DE prospects. If they get one or more of them, they will likely cut their JuCo DE loose. So, in that respect, Auburn would be ok with losing him to us.
Either way, I am interested to see what shakes out and I would like to have any of the above mentioned guys on the team.

Re: DE in waiting....
To me getting any one of the following would be a great close to the recruiting year....
Kirksey
Dancy
Bonomolo
Thinking that Dancy or Bonomolo will give us immediate help and Kirksey will give us help in the future. Any way you look at it, getting any one of these guys would add depth to a position that is desperately needing at least 1-2 playmakers. With our inexperience at LB, having experience and talented DL will help a lot!!!!

FWIW, I would rather have Kirksey but for some reason I don't feel good about him.

Rutgers is his leader and he hasn't visited. Not too often does someone take a visit and get swayed away. Could it happen? Yes, but I don't want us missing out while we wait on him.
