If it is obvious that the only reason someone is posting on the site is to be a DB, then I don't mind judicious use of the ban hammer. So far everthing the guy has posted has been either offensive or derogatory.

Ok I have been reading on here for a while, mostly because I find it amusing but Bison is right. This site has some of the biggest homers I have ever seen. Trust me, I have seen some homers, I look at hawkeyenation almost every day. To say that NDSU doesnt have a chance is laughable. You won 2 games last year and have a new coach. You have no idea what kind of team you are going to field. I see some of saying you are going to put up 60-70 and that is just funny. You would think ISU is coming off a national championship. But no ISU is coming of 10 straight losses. Is it likely that NDSU will win? NO but it is possible. Good luck and I will see you in Ames in a few weeks.
Now how is that trolling? That is just my opinion. My last post may have been close but to ban me for one post when im just trying to have some fun cmon. Relax

The majority of the posters on this site were not guaranteeing a 40 point win. Lakesbison did everything he could to quickly wear out his welcome and he got a lot of posts in before he was banned.
Don't be a jerk and you should be fine. There are a lot of Hawk fans that post on this site an many of them have the ability to post differing opinions without being offensive or derogatory. It's not that hard.
