No, KF asked him to use his 5th and final official visit on Iowa and SH didn't want to and used it on Miami so KF told him no thanks. It doesn't matter he wasn't going to Iowa even if he would have went to IC last week anyway.

SH: Iowa eliminated themselves when they found out that they couldn’t be our 5th official visit. I thought that was a poor choice on their part, but it just makes it a little easier on us.

SH: He went their twice, so I really don’t get why they needed us to have a “official visit.” The only difference is basically that they’d be paying for us to stay in the hotel, other than that, I think they’re too concerned with how people will view them in the media, and maybe what they read in the paper and on websites. I think it was more about that, if it’s not known that we weren’t going to take an official visit there, then it didn’t pull as much weight. I don’t know – I would think that if Seantrel had taken his own particular interest to go down there twice on his own, they would be able to see that he was somewhat serious.

It didn't look good for Iowa or MN once his parents said they would move to wherever he ended up playing. Sounded like a good way to get out of the cold. There was still quite a few people up here that though MN was in this strong but it really seemed like they were never higher than #4.

not this time. Had a convo with some hawks today talking about how the later in the day it got without him signing, the better it was for the hawks. They talked about the allure of KF's coaching ability with O-lineman.

1) As I posted above Iowa took themselves out of the running last week

2) Seantrell himself said he wasn't going to announce until later in the day on ESPN on Tom Lemmings show.

But WHY did they stop recruiting him? KF likely knew there was no chance, and he'd be smart enough to quit chasing a pipe dream and focus in on some likely quality guys that they had a better chance of landing.
