Former Cyclone at/in the Super Bowl
Tyler Lorenzen is on the scout team for the Saints. Tyler was a Mac recruit. Tyler wanted to play QB, coaches tried to make him a receiver. He went to Palomar Jr. College in California where he lit up defenses with his left handed passing. 2 year starter for UCONN Huskies. Landed on the scout team for Saints and recently won the Football Idol competition that was held during Super Bowl week. Tyler's dad Jerry played football for the Cyclones and blocked for All-American Dwayne Crutchfield in the early 80's. Sister Nicole was a big time volleyball player for the Clones in late 90's and early 00's. Eddyclone sezs.. See the future, be the man, be the ball.  -

Its too bad they tried to make him into a receiver, he obviously turned out to be a pretty good QB.

Judging by his number from one of the Media Day pictures I believe he converted to WR when he got to the NFL.
