Jevoury Weddreburn question...
I've read several comments that Jevoury will end up at a juco. For those familiar with his situation, is there any hope he can achieve eligibility by the end of the summer?

I'd love for him to become eligible. From what I understand, this is a great story and I'd love to see him make an impact at ISU.

A little bit of a head scratcher on why we offered him... sure he had a good senior year. Hopefully he can fit in at another position or a returner...

I think they are just trying to get an "in" with him when he graduates from JuCo. We may need him at some position in a couple years.

I don't remember us doing that as much in the past, at least not as obviously.

So Pate is officially going juco? I hadnt heard that. so much info lately hard to keep up on it. I watched his video and he looks like a guy that could grow into a good sized DE.

Re: Jevoury Weddreburn question...
when i watched that film and from playing with him he is an extremely deceptive runner speed wise. he takes long strides and runs real smooth, so it looks lik he's goin slower than he is.he dosn't have great speed but he has good to adequate speed, and his hands are huge he can palm his helmet so he could develop into a good reciever out of the backfield

Re: Jevoury Weddreburn question...
When I watched him against Ankeny he was an extremely hard runner, very tough to bring down, plus very good speed. If we're set at rb I could see him becoming a hard nosed lb. I've also heard he is a good kid that has overcome a tough background and the kind of kid you really root for to someday become part of the clone football family.

I don't think its official yet, but double signed (with ISU and a CC in Iowa) and everything I've read says he won't qualify.

This is why I'm cheering for him.
