What happens in 5 years when the kid wants to commit but Lane isn't there? What happens if the kid turns out to be a dud in high school? What if....

I don't understand why you would do this other than get yourself in the media. Oh wait that is Kiffin's memo.

As much as I despise Lane Kiffin's recruiting, you have to put all of this on the kid's parents. I wish he could sign and LOI right now, and in 5 years he is still 5'8" 150lbs.

I think he should be an early enrollee this spring. It reminds me of the movie Waterboy when the Michigan towel boy played and got clobbered.

Also, hate to be the grammar police but To YLER4CY FYI: I think instead of "memo" you mean m.o. short for latin- Modus operandi or mode of operation.

I say we wait to see how this young man does at the high school level. Sure he can play against kids his own age, but what happens when he faces, as a freshman (and granted he's a the starting QB), a some-what seasoned team of defensive players of DI quality.

Way - way - way too early to commit!
