We offered him. He must be waiting something out. I have no idea what the deal is there but he looks like a decent prospect.

Just because we offered a prospect months ago doesn't mean we're actively recruiting him anymore.

Exactly. He claimed an offer at one time in an interview, that is all that means.

Probably grades or something else. I am sure if we still wanted him we would be after him.

All I said is that we offered so at some point we were ready for him to commit.

Not sure so the DE was the kid who committed to Auburn correct?
Unless we have another kid in the waiting, i really have no idea i was just looking through the unsigned players and came across him.

I have a feeling that Rony Nelson took the last available slot when he had to resign on Wednesday. He can't be counted against last years if he hasn't graduated from CC yet.

I think that we are done with the exception of walk-ons.

I have the same question. We were expecting Hubert to sign so one would think that we still have his schollie available. Maybe they are waiting to see what shakes out with the questionable qualifiers.

At 6'2 234 I think he would be a good candidate to grow into a DE. That's just my armchair recruiting though.

We had 4 early signees and only one could count back to last eyars class. One of the remaining 3 will be counted back to last year.

Put some more muscle on him and i think that would be one hell of a DE, he's got the speed to get the rush from the edge, on his highlight video, but who knows with Rony not graduating.

We are maxed out if everyone but Pate and Wedderbaun qualify. If someone else does not qualify they will open another spot and so on. I hope that doesn't happen but if it does then I think we pick someone up late and hopefully it is this kids. I agree with the DE theory above.

Also, looking at the commitment list, when was the last time EVERY commit had stars attached to them? I don't really believe in stars but I do like the fact we have no guys that have not been evaluated by Rivals.

I remember reading an article on this kid a while back. IIRC, he blew out a knee his junior year and didn't get a lot of looks because of that. The article called him a sleeper, but this may be a case of an injury taking a toll on someone's career.
