Survey of Football fans - prefer afternoon starts

I'm happy to see that so many like the Thursday game, I thought I was the only one by looking on the posts here.

I'd rather drive home late than have to get up crazy early or try to track down a place to stay the night before. Late afternoon is perfect, but I'd rather have night games after that. Nice peaceful drive back home, post-game radio lasts about the whole trip back, better half falls asleep right after we get on 35. It's great.

I do not like Thursday games at all.

Anytime Saturday is ok with me.

When I was on campus, I hated the early starts. I realize you can't say you drank all day if you don't start when you get up in the morning, but tailgating at 8 was a bit early. I know...it was noon somewhere!

I lived overseas for several years and hated the night games, as that meant I had to be up in the middle of the night for the internet radio feed of the games.

Forget the starting times...close to 50% of those surveyed are non ISU alums/current students, and just fans of the team...wait, I thought that only happened at Iowa? OK, who was it? Time to smoke you out for the bandwagoners that you are.

Actually, the stats you're referring to are those self-identified by the respondents, not the entire invited group of 17,700.
