I don't know a lot about BE but what I do know sounds like he is a great fit.

Years of experience coaching Defense under McCarney and Snider.

Has coached in Iowa so he knows what to expect.

Has coached in the Big 12.

Recruiting ties to Cali.

Terrific hire in my opinion. Its like having 2 DC's.
