As I recall, last time Bobby was around during Mac's tenure, we had pretty damn good special teams as well.

COunt me as being slightly dissappointed. I was hoping for an up and comer who could bring a lot of energy to the position.

Yeah, I was thinking this too but there are some BE haters out there. Maybe I've got it wrong. Seems like a good get to me.

Dude was a D coordinator for Iowa under Hayden for years and at K-State under Snyder. Overqualified to coach D-backs, so that is definitely a good thing!

I'm not a bobby elliot hater. He is a great coach, my personal preference was for someone who could match Chris Ash on recruiting. Maybe I will be proven wrong. I hope that I will be.

Wow - that's some logic there. Someone who thinks we could do better than Elliott is now a "BE hater."
I hope he's a better position coach than coordinator. His SDSU defenses were awful...
