If there was a quality position player at 10, I would have put him on there but amazingly enough, there really wasn't

I was really close to putting Nik Moser at 9, but I think Jeff Shudak was the best kicker we've ever had

At 37, I went with the fullback from Des Moines over the kicker from Des Moines ... 2007 Iowa doesn't let me forgive 2004 Missouri - sorry

Ty Wat came from Pacific (thank you to Paul Rhoads) and he was a stud, no doubt ... but Blaise Bryant was a preseason All-American in 1990 (check out the Playboy magazine, he's in there) and only injury at Minnesota (wearing the wrong shoes contributed) kept him from having an amazing senior season after a breakout junior campaign ... I love Ty Wat, but I feel pretty good about taking BB at 21, anyone else have thoughts on this?

This was one of the last one's I decided on, and I actually think Jackson deserves the spot, but I thought I would get killed by the current students if I didn't put AA in here ... anyone else says DJ over AA and I'll gladly make that switch

86 Anthony was a great player, but Ross was better IMHO

88 Horacek was good, but Dan Johnson played in the league ... I also considered TE Craig Mahoney at this spot

#52 James Reed vs. Brent Curvey - I knew this one would come up and I don't think it will ever be settled ... maybe we could create a poll or something, I love 'em both - personally would have went Reed as he is my era, but board love seems to be in favor of Big Play Curvey

Oh definately, I was talking about your 10 recievers list with Whatley. Hell yeah, I used to go up and watch Blaise run for Walden in the short time he played. Heisman hopes till he got hurt and never was the same that one year. I have that Playboy, one of the few Mom let me keep. And the SI "From Surfer to Cyclone"

shouldn't austin flynn be #13? I realized he switched, but he made his mark with #13. Then you could put steve paris in at #8...

Also, what number was ben bruns? I don't think i saw him on the list.

    Re: All-Time Cyclone Football Roster

Bruns was 63 - I went with Mike Stensrud

I put Flynn at 8 so he would be on the team ... I had Washington > Flynn > Paris

If you disagree, please let me know your opinion

Wow, that was impressive! I was wondering where your thread was going with the who's better questions a while back. How long did you work on this?

Thanks, it really didn't take that long. I put it on the shelf for a while then came back to it yesterday.

I had so much fun doing it that I put one together for iowa today.

I have all the players selected, but I'm struggling to find hometowns for all these hawks I don't know very well. I might just post it without that part.
