Does anyone expect Shontrelle Johnson to compete for the back-up running back spot? (besides Shontrelle johnson)
Or is he all but guaranteed a red-shirt?

I would hope he redshirts unless he is just blowing the coaches away and CAN'T be kept off the field. I think we got enough quality RBs to redshirt him and let him get his body ready for the Big 12!
Yep, this thread has just been pwned.

I really think that this offense could be interesting if Lamaak was practicing taking snaps from the QB all last year...

I like LaMaak at center. He handled the ball as a qb in high school so it should make for an easier transition.

Good catch! That will really stir things up in the Big 12 this year!!!

Well was it Haughton that almost scored a TD last season? We know how to get our o-linemen the ball.

Does anyone know what Hicks grades are like going into spring? I always remember hearing a lot about the guy and his talent but obviously grades are an issue.

I cannot believe this staff has not been able to bring a QB that is better than Lamaak. I also am surprised AA will be moving to center. I know he is tough but that's impressive. I will just have to have faith that PR and staff know what they are doing.

Unless we have 3 guys above him I don't see him redshirting. I don't think we have three guys above him.

Re: Spring Football: Top offensive storylines

I've been getting periodic updates from Money about the 7 on 7's and team workouts.

He's very excited about re-joining the line-up and he says that overall the offensive looks 100% better this season.

With all the guys that we have returning on offense including but not limited too A-Rob, Williams, Darks, AA, and Johnson, I'm personally very excited to see what we can do! Spring ball is around the corner!!!! OH BOY!!
This is how we FINISH STRONG!!!
