Pass rush pass rush pass rush. Are we going to have one this season? That's gotta be the #1 defensive story IMO.

When I started to read your post I thought you were talking about offensive play calling sequences. I didn't get it until I read your third sentence. I know I can be pretty dense.

Is Matt Tau'fo'ou a junior or a senior? I see on the two deeps released by ISU, it shows he is a senior, but I thought he did not play last year which would classify him as a Rjr?

I'm not entirely sure if he played or how much, but I was under the impression he was either redshirting or going to try for a medical hardship waiver after this year.

Don't forget about Rony Nelson coming in at DE. I expect that if he passes his one class, he's going to give Neal and Maggitt a run. Aaron Moore might end up being a big story this spring/fall too. Assuming Nelson makes it and everyone does a good job of putting on a few pounds of muscle over the summer, I think that the pass rush will be improved. Hard not to be I guess.

I didn't mention Rony because he's not participating in spring drills. That's the only reason. Hopefully he will be a factor.

In the Ubben Q&A on espn, PR said Tau'fo'ou "didn't play at all." Unless he meant he didn't play linebacker at all......

Man I swear I remember him playing. Maybe I was thinking of Lattimore. Who am I to second guess PR.
