Question
Is the best defense a powerful offense?
(other than obviously a good defense)
This is how we FINISH STRONG!!! -
Re: Question
I think so. When you have a powerful offense, you keep your defense off the field and fresh. That is a great asset to have.

Re: Question
Depends. A powerful and efficient running game is a great defense. Not sure if the same applies for powerful and efficient passing game.

Re: Question
I think the best defense is an offense that never leaves the field.

Re: Question
Yes, look at us last year. We just couldn't hang with teams that had a potent offense.

Re: Question
Alabama style offense = good defense (althought their defense was pretty damned good!)
Texas style offense = not so much.

Re: Question
I think it depends on the style of offense. Great ball control offenses are great for the defense but quick strike passing offenses usually are not. Teams like Texas Tech with offenses that score quickly and throw all the time usually have their defense on the field alot and usually give up a lot of points in high scoring games.

Re: Question
A balanced offense that moves the ball is the best defense. That is the most concise statement you can make using the words offense and defense in one sentence.
Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?
