I think the offense is poised for some major breakouts.
Last year, Herman threw the entire playbook at them, and it caused problems for a lot of guys, especially AA, who has to learn every position besides his own. After dealing with that thing for a year, they've grasped it.
I remember last year when Rhoads said during Spring ball that the defense was ahead of the offense, and the season seemed to look that way at times as well. It seems like right now, the offensive talent is starting to put it all together. I don't think the coaches would be praising these guys so publicly if they weren't seeing some really impressive stuff out of them.
yeah, i'd like more, but seven wins with our schedule this year would be a good year in my book, especially if the 7th was the last one!
From what I am hearing it seems like the focus for the inexperienced linebackers is consistency. It seems like they have the physical tools to make all the plays, they just need to make them every time.
I like the good things he has to say about Tiller. It is nice to know there is someone ready to step in next year (hopefully it is not necessary this year).
Did Tiller play HS bball? I hear we have a lot of openings on the bball team if football could spare him this year...Quote:
