CPR seemed to have his class put together last year well ahead of any of Dan's 12 or Gene's 2.
It definitely has been our history to be a "late bloomer" compared to our Big 12 brethren and Iowa, but CPR seems to have it incrementally heading in the direction of getting commitments earlier than last 2 weeks. Maybe this will continue as he settles in.

The title of this thread should really be changed...
Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

Re: First Commit
ya.. should be who will be first commit
Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative. ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other." -
Re: First Commit
My money is on Maggitt. His older brother is already here. Curt Maggitt - Yahoo! Sports -
Re: First Commit
It would be huge to get Curt Maggitt. You guys see all his offers hes gotten already? It's rediculous! He'd by far be our highest ranked commit if we get him. Fingers crossed...

I WAS THERE!!!!!! -
Re: First Commit
Rob Standard. Rb from Missouri. We are his only Big 6 offer to date, and he has taken two unofficial visits. Austin Blythe committed to Iowa today as well, so the ISU name is not gaining much more traction in the state these days.

He was a born and bred hawk from eastern Iowa.
