I personally do not think that there's an All American on the team. Not that we don't have some good players, but AA? At ISU, where we're not winning 10+ games, you have to be a SUPER player to be an AA.
I'd like to see Jennert actually start before we start saying he is going to be great. He's not going to start this year and next year, we're going to have four SRs that are likely to battle for starting spots. IMO there's no way that Jennert starts before he's a JR. AA? Not likely. I personally don't think that he's a great fit for the offense (considering the type of WR they are bringing in now) and will end up being a red zone jump ball player and never a starter.
I would agree with you here for the most part. I would also say there are a couple guys that could make it. Sims is one. KO is one. Will they? DOubtful because we are ISU. I don't think our style will really matter for Jennert. There is always a sppot for a 6'6 guy with 4.5 or so speed. He may not be a great fit but it is the coaches job to make him fit because someone like that should be on the field if he can somewhat run a route and catch the ball which he appears to do both.
