Away games you plan to attend?
We hope to go to the Texas, Kansas State and Colorado games this year. A new record for us. What away games are you planning to go to? Just curious

Does a bowl game count as an away game? -

Just curious Hoping middle daughter and I can make the trip to Texas this year. She is running the Des Moines marathon the next week. We plan on flying into San Antonio and staying either Thursday night or Saturday night on the Riverwalk. Austin is only 79 miles. Maybe we can meet up like we did at A&M last year.
If Iowa plays Iraq I wear a turbin to the game! -

Since I'll be in Tulsa for grad school, I'm going to the Texas and OU games.

I've been working in Salt Lake City for several months, and let me tell you, Salt Lake City is possibly the most boring town of its size in the country. Don't let that stop you from coming to the game, but be warned. If you can't go skiing or mountain biking, or hang out at one of the 5 bars downtown, there really is nothing else here to do.

I've heard that from many people. I am a little concerned about the night life scene. Is there not much of a campustown?
