Total FB season tickets sold this year

When everything is said and done the the 2007 season kicks off, how many FB season tickets will have been sold.

Also, what were your expectations for season ticket sales before season tickets went on sale this year.

I think we will sell between 35-36k when the season starts. My expections before the season were about 32k. I figured the nice home schedule and new coach would offset the bad season we had last year and we might come out a bit on top of last years total if we were lucky. Sales this year have exceeded my personal expectaions.

I went with 38,000+. Aim high, I always say! We may not get there, but there's still time...

Thanks to all those $195 tickets bought by EIU fans, we may exceed 38k.

35-36k. Depending on the hype that comes out of Ames in the fall...maybe more.

For the last poll of this kind I said 35-36K and I'm sticking with that here. My conservative calculations assume 33K by end of May and 1K for each remaining month until end of August.

In the earlier poll I actually thought 35-36K was be higher than we'd actually achieve. I have been surprised thus far. So I won't be surprised if there is a run-up in ticket sales beginning in August. Should be fun to watch, those EIU fans won't be able to help themselves.

Who thinks we will only get 33,000-34,000 (there were 3 votes when I looked)?!? We have less than 1,300 to get to 34,000!

I started a poll thread a few months back. I wonder how many of us would change our votes from what we predicted earlier. I think my vote was for 31,000-32,000. I would like to change my vote now.

Last year tickets were submited by May i think and after that not many more tickets were sold. 1,000 maybe. I would bet that only 1,000 or so are sold during the next few months. we will end up around 34,000 tickets sold this year.

I will give you my best guess. It is like 3400 are included and the remaining 10,000 could be added if they sell them. What are our school colors again?

I could see JP doing some last minute season ticket incentives, bundling, or something to try and get every last fence sitter. That's why I voted 38,000 plus. It would be a Pollardgenius thing to do.

You may have a valid point. Nothing so far would seem to indicate that Pollard is happy to just sit back and enjoy what he has. I'm sure there are some plans in the works to make a last minute push on ticket sales.

Oh how sweet it would be to watch all of the EIU fans and media personalities eating crow when we fill JTS for the EIU game.

We already have about 37,000 for the EIU game as of TODAY when you factor in the 3000 EIU tix and tent sales.
