Did we lose an offensive lineman to academics?

Someone on HN has a thread that we lost an offensive lineman? Anyon know if this is true and if so who is it?

Would graduating count as "losing someone due to academics?" :smile:

Hicks would be the only guess.

Someone mentioned Haughton wasn't in the directory but that was incorrect as they didn't realize that Haighton is listed as Adrin Haughton in the directory.

I'd guess Hicks which wouldn't be a huge loss since we've already played a season without him. Hopefully it's not true.

Even if we did, we brought in a great class of linemen this year. Not too worried unless it is a starter.

You must have misremembered on where you saw this information. I was told that Hawkeye fans could care less about anything that deals with Iowa State.

You wouldnt know that from reading HN, everyday there is at least one story about ISU on the top forums.

some were speculatiig hicks, Haughton, and Baysinger because they weren't in the directory. I believe Baysinger left the team but now Hicks and Haughton are in the directory.
everythign I has seen or heard is pure sepculation by student directory stalkers:no: Maybe they can get with the Facebook stalkers and chat:chatterbox: in orderr to get the real story. maybe the tweeters can help out as well

HN would be the place I would go for conversations regarding academic pursuits.

It was an attempt to hide some of the idiot posters. Like posters who claim Ferentz flooded the field in '08 so Iowa would beat us in football. :confused:

Graduating might actually be a misc. category at EIU.

Lets see, their ledger might look like - OWI, assult, check book crimes against old ladys, 5 strike MIP's. and then there's "graduated and other acaademic crap" Probably, as long as the list under stupid crap coaches son has done that would get him kicked off most teams in the state.

Guess I don't see how looking at the student directory is "stalking". It's a way to see if the kid is registered for classes, that's it. Facebook has personal information, so I'd put that closer to the "stalking" category, but even then, the person has to accept said stalker as a friend.
