I know that some cfers cant stand the guy, so I like linking him so the supporters can come here and defend him. I like the "leave him alone" comments. Keeler's like the kid on the school bus that nobody likes, and five people will chime in that he is a good reporter.
If I was an outsider, I would have trouble giving the over/under anymore than a 4.5. It is a tough schedule and the defense is going to be hurting. I have no problem with this.
I agree. The more I look at our schedule, 5 wins seems generous. Our predictions of 5+ wins is hinged on a lot of uncertainties. Offense improving in second season under Herman, Arnaud playing like we think he can, A-Rob playing the whole season, young LBs stepping up, and an improved D-Line, just to name a few.
I'm worried most about defense (obviously). The defense was pretty bad last year, but kept the points allowed per game down by generating a lot of timely turnovers. A lot of those turnovers were forced by our highly experienced LBs. I'm concerned that losing them is going to hurt more than we think.
Hope I'm wrong and the "talent" upgrade makes up for the loss of experience.
