What happens when we win the Big 12 North this year? ?

Iowa State has the potential to have a strong season this year. With all the rumors, panic attacks and misinformation about conference reallignment, I wonder what will happen when we win the Big 12 North this season? Would panic set in to get Iowa State into other conferences?

That would be a hell of a way to end our time in a major football conference. If you can't join 'em, beat 'em.

I think a sinkhole opens up and swallows JTS.

I'll go on the record and say there's a better chance the Big 10 invites us tomorrow than us winning the North next year.

Hey if by some miracle we won the Big12 Championship game I say they smash the trophy on live TV and start packing for a BCS game.

Look at the schedule...if we win these games:
K State
Kansas
Colorado

and win 1 of these three
Texas Tech -in Ames, new coach
Nebraska-in Ames
Mizzou

and lose to:
Oklahoma
Texas

We may well win the Big 12 North

yea. We'll probably play Iowa again in the BCS title game. Hawkeye nation has already put them in the title game.

The chances of us winning the final Big 12 football title are about as good as us winning the final Big 8 basketball tournament.
