    Largest oil spill ever, largest recession in 80 years, arabs with nukes, global warming, nearly entire b-ball team gone, Big 12 gone, floods, earthquakes, tornados, Bush followed by Obama followed by Palin, largest federal deficit in history, EIU wins Orange Bowl...

    I am no longer worried about cholesterol, skin cancer, or declining IRA values.

    The Mayans predicted Dec 21, 2012. I'd say we're right on schedule... This is also all lining up with ISU's next best chance to win the North with the easy South rotation and what should be a very senior team. Dec 21 would put us about two weeks out of the National Championship game after we win the final Big 12 Conference Football Championship.

    The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray.
