NCAA going hard on USC...

They didnt just punish USC...they brought the HAMMER down! Loss of post season for 2 years is huge IMO. Youve got guys like Barkley who came to USC to win a title, and now there is no way he can do that. Could anyone imagine what would happen if USC ended the regular season at #1, but the National Championship was played #2 vs #3?

Even more devastating is the loss of 10 scholarships a year for 3 years...30 in total. That is going to be tough to overcome for a number of years.

Finally they get whats coming to them! 30 less scholarships and 12 wins vacated from 2004 and 2005.

) Current Jrs and SRs can transfer without sitting out a year. ANY schools are free to contact them. Wow USC Trojans juniors, seniors can transfer without sitting - ESPN Los Angeles

Reggie Bush should have to give back his Heisman Trophy, BCS Championship Ring, and Also Superbowl ring. So future players who think they can have houses bought for them in college see that you cannot. And if you do, you just be a no good scum bag like Reggie Bush with nothing to show for his career.

right. That's why the NCAA uses the word "vacate" rather than "forfeit" If they forfeited the games, then the other team wins. Vacating them, just means they are sticken from USC's record.

Um, I don't think so. The NFL isn't going to do anything. Bush didn't commit a crime. There was no law broken, here. He was in violation of NCAA guidelines. The NCAA has no control over his NFL career.

Although there is the remote possiblity that Bush's eligibility is retroactively removed and that opens the possiblity for the vote to remove his Heisman.

Yes. You have a point. This is why vigilantes must obtain this ring from his home. To make sure this type of action NO LONGER TAKES PLACE IN COLLEGE SPORTS

Because he knew sanctions were coming and he got out of there. He wont be missing post seasons... he wont be losing any draft picks or anything of the sort...His wins are vacated... so what... He's on a yacht somewhere sitting on millions.
