Well, they only went to the Emerald Bowl last year - so not much different.
But as usual - the kids who didn't have anything to do with it get punished. Not sure there's much else to do - but still sucks.
Good. About time the NCAA wakes up and smells the coffee.
Can the NCAA actually ban someone from participating in bowl competition? I thought they had zero control over bowl selection.
Kick them out of the Pac 16.
That's not hard on them. 4 years would deplete two classes. I don't think 2 years does much. If you are going to USC you have to think you won't play until at least your second year in MOST cases. Most likely you won't play until your 3rd. So the incoming class, who is already balls deep only likely loses that playing experience for a year tops. The next class is even less affected. It's a joke really.
ESPN A two ban on the postseason for the football and they must vacate wins in Reggie Bush's final season. Looks like Pete Carroll was smart for leaving.
If Texas is going to the Pac 10, this is the time to do it when they can get a huge leg up on USC.
to be vacated due to cheating. Just curious if they now award that to Oklahoma or do they just say that nobody wins it that year? TMZ is reporting they have to give it up.
What the Hell is with TMZ and sports today?
