CF.com: Keep Up The Good Work

A quick note of appreciation for the work done by the site to keep people informed on a difficult situation for ISU and other teams affected by realignment.

As to the Big East, CF was right to dispel the rumor by a Providence reporter that Georgeown is somehow getting in the way of expansion. Georgetown fans support whatever is needed to maintain the Big East as a top-tier athletic conference, and while Hoya football (I-AA) isn't strong enough to compete in the Big East, a strong basketball conference is no less important when it comes to the long term standing of these schools in the rapidly changing landscape. A 20-team Big East is vastly preferable to an eight team league of forgotten Northeastern teams.

    Thanks for the kind note.

For the record, G-Town is my second favorite basketball school behind the Clones. They always have been. I LOVED AI growing up as a kid.

I agree. In this kind of format, it's very easy for the real info to get lost in the shuffle, and you guys have done a great job keeping us updated.

Re: CF.com: Keep Up The Good Work

I'm all about the Big East.

The thing I've loved the most is how supportive BE fans are of this move as well. Usually other schools just rip on us and what not. To a "t" all the Big East fans here have been great.

Agreed. This board is much healthier and productive than other Cyclone sites.
