New Big 12 power rankings

I love the money. I'm not sure I like the 9-game round-robin, but here's the power rankings for 2012:

1. Texas
2. Oklahoma
3. aTm
4. OSU
5. Texas Tech
6. Missouri
7. ISU
8. Baylor
9. Kansas
10. KSU

So here lies the question. We'll have our 3 non-conference games. If the conference games play out to the preliminary power rankings, ISU is looking at 3-6 in conference most years. Some years we might get up to 6-3 some might be 1-8, but I think 4-5 or 3-6 are pretty attainable. Can we afford to keep Iowa on the schedule when we have to go 3-0 in the OOC to get bowl eligible?

How can you project power rankings for 2012 when the then seniors have only played one season?

i think you assume way too much power in the south. Missouri is likely going to be the 3rd best team in the big12 in 2012...
