Let's crush Texas this year

Great thread. I assume our FB coaching staff never thought of this! I hope they read this board.
As for if we beat texas we will be relevant in FB again. My first complaint: Beating Texas once will not make us relevant in anything. My second thing: when have we ever been relevant in FB?

um...yeah. sounds good, but they have a way better team than we do every year. great idea, not sure how to execute it though.

Texas is going to feel like they are on an island for awhile. They had universities, presidents, AD's, coaches, athletes, and fans from all over the country worrying about the future of their programs and what was going to happen to them based on UT's decision. Texas may very well have taken the title of the worlds most hated university and it may not even be close. Outside of Austin there will be very little support for them. Crowds will be more hostile towards them then ever before and especially for road games in the Big XII. I could see Texas having a rough season this year despite all of their talent. Breaking in a new qb in more hostile then usual atmospheres could cause this kid some problems.

How bout this: win the Big 12. The country was treating us like the ugly girl that no one wants to invite to prom in this whole mess. Our boys shouldn't be lacking for motivation this season.

I think that, for now, they have played their "switching conferences card". The Pac10 is wary of them now and others must have taken notice. I think they will try to maintain the B12, and control, or would have to go independent.
