Bowl Situation?

So how will the Big XII bowl tie ins wash out? Does the reduction to 10 teams give us the opportunity to end up in a higher prestige bowl with a moderately successful season? Will Nebraska still get invited to a bowl this year or can the Big XII sort of steer down their invite?

Not sure about the first question, but Nebraska is still going to be a Big XII bowl this year I'm pretty sure (that is, if they make it ).

Nothing about the big12 is changing this year.

WE are still locked in to all of our bowl agreements. If a team in the big 12 does not qualify for a bowl, then that bowl will then select an at large team. So basically the last and second to last bowls, most likely are in danger of not having a big 12 team in their bowl in the 10 team era.

The Cotton Bowl will find a way to pass on Nebraska if slotted.
