You did read it wrong. Two separate incidents it appears.

Either way, pretty serious, and I am curious how Rhoads will handle it. Suspension for sure.

He's still a pretty young guy if it was a senior yes. Best to suspend multiple games and let his teammates run the crap out of him.

It will be interesting to see the difference between how PR handles this and how Captain Kirk handled Clayborn's incident from last winter that finally went to court in March (over a year after the incident).

Clayborn was not suspended at all for punching a taxi cab driver. He even plead guilty to the incident and he won't be punished at all.

I really hope that PR holds up his standards and at least suspends Moore if not a full release.

I read that the same way. Took a couple looks before I realized it was two different incidents.

I believe Simple assault means there were no visible signs of injury. Serious Assault means there are visible signs of injury like cuts or bruises. Aggravated Assault means bodily injury or injury caused by use of a weapon.

Usually the initial charge is the highest charge possible. Then you have the bargaining process and the usual lawyering.

Don't know what happened or how it happened but any time a player has his name on the police record it is not good.
