After CU and NU leave, I think it would be a great gesture to our fellow conference members, maybe not Missouri, if we created a traveling trophy for each conference football game. It would make every game more fun and create friendly rivalries.
Okay, maybe just four or five. But definitely a trophy for games with old Big8 members KU, KSU, OSU, and OU.
Thoughts?
How about a "left behind trophy" between us and K St? The trophy will be a golden longhorn and after the game the winner takes the trophy to the 50 yard line, leaves it there and both teams walk away

I saw that the ESPN Big Television blog called Iowa-Nebraska "Farmagedon." *****, it was ours first. That being said, I think it would be a great trophy game and has the possibility to become an actual rivalry because each school will need that win to advance. I'm not so opposed to having the game in KC every year if the money is good. It would be neat to have Iowa-K-State on a friday or early Saturday game and Mizzou- KU as a Saturday or late Saturday game. The P&L District would be hopping that weekend!Quote:
