Why is ISU always 3 steps behind everyone else? Ohio St has been talking about doing this for about a week now. Iowa fans have been talking about doing it for a couple days now. And now, since it's all over the place, we've caught on.
It's a HORRIBLE idea. If ISU football games sounded like those World Cup soccer games... I would never go again. Who wants a terrible headache?
I actually came up with this idea almost 2 weeks ago when the world cup started. I just didn't post it. So we could still claim it as our own original idea... so there ya go.
Actually I'm relatively sure that they are also illegal in Big 12 football. Hence the lack of any annoying cowbells or the like, and why they always try to take horn guys horn away.
We used to bring plastic stadium horns into old Clyde William's. Noisy damn things if you knew how to blow them right. I think you are right in that they are no longer allowed. I do remember my friend Paul blowing his in the dorm all of the time. Rude awakening if you were sitting quietly in the den when he would sneak up and blow it and scare the crap out of you. Oh, and he was a big enough guy to get away with it!
Years ago Texas High School football fans would bring jugs filled with nails and bolts into old Texas Stadium for playoff games...some big dudes would shake the jugs...noisey as heck...anyone else hear of this? saw it one time thought it was intresting
I like the vuvuzela's in soccer, but it's unique to South Africa and should stay there. Honestly, I wouldn't mind them, but every school in the country will be dealing with kids bringing these to games this fall.
