Sure can. QT's are $.49 plus every store is strict on how often they clean their fountain lines. With K & G, you never know what to expect from store to store.

Also, QT dumps their coffee every two hours and makes new. Nothing like this at K & G.

I avoid Panchero's. Not because it's owned by Hawk fans, but because it's the most over priced, and least appetizing burrito chain around.

This made me laugh out loud !! Of course if you know someone they are nice to U.We all have opinions on gas, coffee , soda ... Fun to read today lol..

I'm assuming you've only had it in Iowa City? That one is better than others. The one's in DSM/Ames are barely better than Taco Bell and about 3x the price.

They're building a lot of new ones along I 80 in Eastern Iowa. There's one about a year old at the Tipton/Moscow exit. Their gas prices are ALWAYS the highest around and if I see one car in there, that's a lot.

Casey's is the place. Cheapest gas and the pizza is pretty spectacular for a quicky mart.

A giant burrito is a giant burrito is a giant burrito. There's very little difference between Pancheros, Qdoba, Chipotle, etc.

Haven't been to a K&G in at least 5 years. I too have a grudge, but it's not due to who they support. I was an assistant manager for one of their stores for about 3 years and their regional supervisors are complete morons that don't listen to any of the employees who do the real work. I will ALWAYS drive an extra mile to avoid KG!!

P.S. Bill Krause is a very nice man.....Kyle is an idiot and will eventually run the company into the ground.

People should research sometime how fuel gets from refineries to gas stations. It is interesting. One thing that everyone should know is that the SAME pipelines are used by all fuel companies. When the fuel arrives, additives etc. can "change" the fuel, but it still the same fuel as everyone else uses.

Isn't When Pigs Fly BBQ owned by a former ISU FB player? That would be enough for me to give it a try if I lived in the metro.

Tim Dwight co-owns a Kum & Go east of Iowa City on I-80. I'll boycott that one.

I've been told that people from out of state buy Kum & Go t-shirts for the naughty novelty factor.
