The proposed plan would may be only add 1,000 more seats if it was kept with one deck... which it probably would be. It would just replace the grass. But good try there!

I actually drove by as well this morning....appears the bleachers are in place. Also I saw Bo Jackson practicing on the field, I heard from the internets that he got another year of eligibility. Also in the picture notice the In and Out Burger they added just west of the stadium. Should be a nice addition. Good luck on all your goals.

Whats the population of Iowa? I think Iowa and ISU have huge following considering the population of the this state and having two BCS Universities. Tell you what you live in CO right........Colorado is what three times the size of Iowa, Colorado is the only BCS college in the state, I bet ISU has a larger fan base than even the Buffaloes.

your probably right cause CO has this team called the Broncos maybe you've heard of em. college sports is not exactly top priority. IA only has college sports so of course the population is gonna be a little more invested in it. FWIW i am a diehard cyclone and grew up in des moines and lived there for 24 years of my life. i just think this board is a little delusional as to where we fall on the college sports map.
