Insite.com bowl we ran Leinenclugals (SP?) out of beer. It was across the street from the stadium We litterly ran a beer making place out of beer. Good job by all Cyclone fans. They were shocked and said it had never happened before.
Nobody but HB knows for sure. You pretty much know nothing....like Knownothing would like to say.
Upon entering the stadium the concourse was full of "Let's go State" chants. The UNLV fans were not only mad, but very impressed. Maybe not the biggest group of traveling ISU fans that day, but certainly the most imposing in my opinion. The tension and excitement in that stadium was something else.
I like how the original poster asks for opinions about a "true road game" and the thread disinigrates into a "pat myself on the back" thread about people attending past bowl games and the FSU game.
I'd probably also have to go with the KU 2005 game. We usually sell out our allotments at Iowa & Nebraska, however outside of those allotments we don't usually pack the rest of those places because tickets are a little scarce.
"It's appropriate for leaders sometimes to move boldly against the flow of public opinion," she said. "That's called leadership." --- Sarah Swisher (D), Superdelegate, Iowa City
The Northern Illinois road game was a great Cyclone turnout. NIU's home attendance was horrid yet the day ISU played there they set a new stadium attendance record. Coincidence? I think not.
