What is...
... the best fan representation we have ever had at a true road game? Anyone have any games to throw out there? I'm just curious...

Re: What is...
Last year at Mizzou was pretty good.
ISU had a section near the endzone as usual filled with cardinal and gold...but there was also some bus trip set up that filled a decent sized area in the upper deck on the other end of the stadium.
Mizzou's crowd was less than spectacular that day. They weren't really playing for anything other than bowl game position.

I seem to remember a very large Cyclone contingent at KU in 2005...too bad we lost and had to watch them tear down the goal posts after the game. By "true road game" I assume you mean the Arrowhead game and bowl games don't count? If so, I would imagine some Hawkeye games have to be up there.

Re: What is...
Outside of Iowa, the only true road game I've been to was Ohio in 2001 - and I was rather impressed by the Cyclone turnout.

Re: What is...
i wasnt there but it seems like alot of fans went to the game at West Point several years back......????

Re: What is...
The Northern Illinois road game was a great Cyclone turnout. NIU's home attendance was horrid yet the day ISU played there they set a new stadium attendance record. Coincidence? I think not.

Re: What is...
KU 2005 was insane. I was a bit younger so maybe my idea of a huge turnout was a bit skewed, but the atmosphere with all the cyclone fans before the game and up until a field goal mess up again. It was insane.

Re: What is...
ISU travels well, never been to a road game where I thought "wow, no Cyclone fans showed up today." It's well documented we got some hardcore traveling fans + graduates across the nation. KU 2005 was crazy. Thinking about that just always got me wondering how well we would travel for the big 12 champ game.

Re: What is...
Both the MU game last year and the KU game were good I was at both but the best would be UNLV lucky enough to be at that one too. ISU fans attendence was somewhere between 7k-10k. I would rank them
1. UNLV 2009
2. KU 2005
3. MU 2010

Re: What is...
The last UNLV game there were as many and if not more ISU Fans there than UNLV

I was there too, and was also younger, but I remembered being blown away by all the ISU fans that were there. Unfortunately, I have mostly bad memories from that particular game. -
Re: What is...
UNLV game...ISU had one whole side. The bowl game last year was good too.
