You should make posters of your pic of CPR as the Dos Equis guy. I have now found a picture that just might replace the picture of my wife and I with the kids on our living room wall. Of course I haven't told my wife yet but she should be OK with it.

Re: David Sims to miss Northern Illinois game
Hopefully the resolution to this issue will keep Cyclones from bashing Ferentz for handing out a 1 game suspension for any misdemeanor. Hopefully, this makes our fans realize that discipline at the collegiate level has changed. Times have changed and luckily we haven’t had to deal with it very often in the past. But in the future we need to stop judging how Iowa handles it disciplinary actions. -

I almost wish he could have been suspended for @UT or @OU. But beggars can't be choosers and I'm happy he's only out 1 game.

Driving a car over the legal limit is stupid, just like using someone elses credit card. Hopefully lessons are learned.

What is this Iowa that you are talking about?

I understand this desire, (didn't Florida pull something like this with Spikes, suspending him for a later game instead of the first game of the season?) but then we would have been the laughing stock of the entire nation. We would have suspended our best player in the toughest game of the year. We are basically admitting that we don't have a chance. Why even play the game?

I understand that according to some, NIU would give Ohio St a run for its money, but if we can't beat NIU even without Sims, its not going to matter because we will be in for a very long year. Its as simple as that.
Man for man, we should be superior over NIU at almost every position.

Ha!! You need to do a search and see how hard this board comes down on Iowa for a similar suspension. This fanbase is very quick to judge their actions. Almost always disagreeing with what they do no matter what the issue is.
