CPR just announced in his presser that David Sims will miss the Northern Illinois game. Only a one game suspension.

This is how things should get handled. You don't push things off until after the season is over. Own up to your mistakes, handle it, and move on.

About the only choice they had....have to do something and 2 games is a big chunk of a senior's season for his first (and hopefully last) legal issue.

I know, I was surprised Binns only got the 1 game though and felt like he should have missed 2 since Prater did last year for the same thing. Hampton and 1 game I have no problem with that.

He literally said that right after I posted what I said. I still think who we play game 2 had some of the decision on it!

probably the right call, but I think the opener could be closer than hoped for. I really hope missing our defensive MVP isn't the difference in the game.....
