If Neal is up to 240, that's what Moorhead weighed most of his career and he was pretty productive.

Bailey was really playing well late in the season last year, several times he beat his man and got some real penetration into the backfield. He was really getting upfield and it stood out to me. Could have a big Sr year.

IMO he is the direction we are going on recruiting too for DL, taller lengthy guys that can get hands in passing lanes.... No more 6 footers on the ends either.....

Yup and he is stronger, will be better at bull rushing.

    Re: DL Starters

I just hope this year that the DL can hold up the rushing game or else put some pressure on the 75% completion qbs. It was the weakest point in the last three years for our defense.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

Don't forget Jerrod Black. He could step up big in the rotation too-

I think Johnson and McDonough will be solid this year.

McDonough looks the part but not sure he has the motor to be a starter...

You're going to judge that by the way he played a dummy Olineman.

No, Maybe because I've yet to see him prove that he has one. Posted the video because it gives us a look at what we have. You make a good point that dummy drills don't make a DL. Warren Sapp probably sat out these drills and just showed up at games...

I hope Bailey can stay healthy, as he has had some bad luck with injuries. I see him having a good year if the injury bug stays away from him. He really was looking good at the end of the year.

I get your point. I just think implying that someone may not have the motor because of a drill workout in which they never actually did the drill on the side of their position is sketchy. I'm not saying I know he has the motor, just that I can't conclude from that video that he lacks it.
