Bad Calls That Have Gone Our Way
In the "38th Most Painfull Losses" thread there has been alot made of questionable calls that have gone against us (i.e. Yelk's field goal against Bama, Seneca's dive against FSU), and both the "blarge" and the three-pointer off a missed first freethrow are discusssed approximately 147 times per basketball season. I also saw a thread on a different teams board discussing poor or questionable calls that fans can remember being in the good-guy's favor.
So with all of the discussion of calls that have gone against us, can anyone remember any notable bad/questionable calls that have gone our way?

Not really a bad call, but possibly unfair?
Insight Bowl taking us over Missouri last year.

One that came to mind for me was the "no-call" block in the back by Moser (I think it was him) on the Curvey pick-6 in the CU game.

The first basketball one that comes to mind is in the 96 B8 Tourney final against Kansas. Down 1 with less than 10 secons left (I think) ISU inbounded to Willoughby after KU took the lead and Jacque Vaughn was called for a pretty harmless touch follow that put Willoughby at the line. Made both, Vaughn missed the last ditch effort at the buzzer and you know the rest.

I've got one. In the Cincinnati-Iowa State game in 1997 to get to the Sweet 16. Fast forward to the 2:20 mark of the video. This is the "call" that would eventually set up the Klay Edwards hook shot. Probably should have been a foul on Pratt and not a travel.

We've gotten tons of calls over the years. Probably as many as have gone against us. You just remember the bad ones.
This goes for every team.

I seem to remember Todd Blythe getting away with a pushoff on about half of his career touchdowns.

Maybe, but the other Cincy player (#34) fell onto Pratt's ankle, knocking Pratt into the guy with the ball. Dominoes.

That's a good one Blum.
There's also the questionable holding call from the MU football game in 2006. I know the still photo shows the O-Lineman with a fist full of McKenzie's jersey, but the video doesn't appear quite as obvious...maybe not a bad call as much as a questionable call.

It is interesting how much much one call can mean to an outcome. If that foul is called, the Edwards hook never happens.
