Re: Iowa State and Iowa: Swap Schedules
Iowa goes 12-0 with our schedule, just like they will go 12-0 with their schedule. Just ask them.

Re: Iowa State and Iowa: Swap Schedules
I say we'd go 5-7 with Iowa's schedule. I see Iowa going 10-2 with ours with losses in Austin and Norman....maybe 9-3 if they slipped up at home against Tech, NU or Mizzou

They'd be 6-6 ish.

Re: Iowa State and Iowa: Swap Schedules
I would say ISU goes 6-6 with Iowa's schedule
and Iowa goes 9-3 with our schedule
we beat:
EIU, Ball State. Mich State, Indiana, Northwestern, and Minn
Iowa loses to:
Texas, OU, and (either Nebby or Utah)

Re: Iowa State and Iowa: Swap Schedules
I'm not sure how much of a difference playing Iowa's schedule would make for us. In my mind it makes the chance of an upset more likely (I'll take Penn State or Ohio State over road games at Oklahoma or Texas any day), but the number of games I would pencil in as wins doesn't change that much. Probably 5-7 or 6-6 wins on the Iowa schedule.
I'd guess 9-3 or 10-2 for the Hawkeyes with our schedules, with Texas and Oklahoma being the big losses. I could see some of the offense-driven teams like Utah or Texas Tech giving Iowa fits. Nebraska-Iowa strikes me as a truly boring game with stalwart defenses (the Big XII has addicted me to offensive shootouts).

I don't know how the teams will do with their own schedules.

Now swap schedules. will be eaiser to predict after the first game......if ISU's offense is dramatically better than last, then ISU wins a lot more games than my first thought.
I think Iowa goes 9-3 or 8-4. UT and OU are tough places to win at, then Utah or Mizzou with their offenses I think would give Iowa fits (see Northwestern the past decade). Then if Nebraska lives up to their top 10 billing, they are not a gimmie either.

Re: Iowa State and Iowa: Swap Schedules
With Tx and OU having bye weeks the week before playing uofi, I see both of those as a definate loss for uofi.
