It seemed like cheating to lump '03 into one "game" but it makes sense to do it that way ... otherwise it'd probably gobble up 7 spots on its own.

That CU game at #17 was painful. I'd rather take one to the jaw from Mike Tyson than have to sit through that again.

The second problem is that our kickers seem to work in spurts. When they're on, they're untouchable (besides, even if someone did, it would be roughing the kicker ) but when they're off, they're horrible.

by "when they're off" you mean all other times.

Both Mahoney and Guyer are on scholarship. Chizik was smart enough to know that you rarely succeed in the Big XII by recruiting walk-on kickers.

2003 was a brutal, brutal season.

Shaggy's game shines like a beackon of light through the dark clouds - and I've only seen it on video because I was passed out in a truck bed in the student lot. I assume that contributed to the win as I've have not passed out before kickoff for the loses against Iowa in recent years.

Well by all means. Remember though, Iowa everclear is only 151 now.

Well by all means. Remember though, Iowa everclear is only 151 now. I've passed out twice during tailgating.
-> Iowa game where Drew Tate died
-> Iowa game with Shaggys FGs
I'm not saying I have special powers or anything ... but I probably do.

Which is why I'm still suprised that the 2007 Iowa game is not at the top of the list being put out this week
I seem to recall Shaggy holding all sorts of records for ISU football kicking, and did a great job, but there are a handful of kicks he missed that are going to be the reason a lot of games make the list this week
Oh we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State, and may her colors ever fly!!! In Accordance with Prophecy
