What about something similar to the helmets they wore for the 2007 Iowa game? Why did we go with yellow pants instead of gold? They got the color scheme just right for that Iowa game and we were told that is what we were going to get for colors when the new ones came out. Instead we get USC. How about our own identity? How about Cardinal and Gold (not bright yellow) and a smearing of a little white for our uniforms?

I've spent time in the south. I haven't seen that color anywhere but on a Longhorn. I pull for the Longhorns in most situations but dislike the color. I've never seen dirt that orange.

We need to keep our logo and uniforms as is. I hate changing them every 3 years or when we get a new coach. We need to find something and stick with it. It won't please everybody, but sometimes you just need to deal with it.

whatever our colors are or whatever our logo is, its still ISU and I love ISU. ISUs' helmet being voted ugliest in the big 12 pisses me off. And the texas helmet the best. theres is nothing. Its like Penn states helmet with a longhorn on it. How is that the best and ours the worse?

Most of the media covers Texas more and they're tradition. I don't expect any more from guys that consistently rate Texas the top recruiting class in the Big XII. Yet Nebraska's helmet is suprisingly similar to Texas and they get a worst vote. Some south bias there? I'd vote for Kansas, but I've never liked their stuff.
