I really like the white numbers on the jersey's too.

I think it's brilliant work, too — triple stripes on the gold helmet looks awesome.

I still prefer the gold numbers, though.

Wow, 6 pages of Cyclone fans discussing (not arguing?) about football uniforms. It's obviously close to kick-off time! Put the adult beverages on ice, get the burgers/brats/wings ready, clean the grill, find the pieces to your favorite parking lot game: Ladies and Gentlemen, it's time for the young men wearing your favorite colors/design (or not) to kick backsides and take names. I am so ready for the season to start. Now, if we could only have gold helmets to go with the rest of the unis.......
